D-Zolve™ 339 Carbon Remover
D-Zolve 339™ is an industrial grade carbon remover that is designed to quickly remove carbon and oil deposits produced by engine combustion. Parts can either be placed in an immersion tank containing D-Zolve 339 or it can be applied to a surface via spray. D-Zolve is suitable for use with all ferrous and non-ferrous metals including aluminum carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, magnesium and others.
D-Zolve 339 does not require any costly equipment investment. In addition, it does not result in the need for waste-water treatment, dust-control, or air scrubbing equipment.
Removing Deposits with D-Zolve 339
When parts are placed in an immersion tank, D-Zolve 339 will dissolve and emulsify the burnt-on oils and carbon deposits. Adding agitation to the immersion tank significantly accelerates the cleaning process. Any remaining deposits in narrow, difficult to reach spaces can be removed using a nylon brush. D-Zolve 339 breaks the chemical bond between the deposits left following combustion and the metal substrate. Devoid of any water content, it will not promote oxidation.
Minimizes Health and Safety Hazards
D-Zolve 339 is designed to minimize health and safety hazards. It contains no halogens and no CFCs. It is non-flammable, non-corrosive, and non-ozone depleting.
A Safe Workplace
When placing parts into a stripping tank, or removing them, proper protective gear should be worn. Goggles to protect eyes from splashes, gloves to protect hands, and a smock or apron to prevent clothing from getting wet are recommended. Tank should be covered at all times to inhibit evaporation. For further safety information consult the D-Zolve 339 SDS.
