- Safe replacement for hazardous degreaser/ cleaners
- Faster drying than other non-hazardous products
D-Greeze™ 1000
D-Greeze™ 1000 is an industrial grade replacement for chlorinated and other hazardous solvents. While maintaining the aggressive cleaning action of Solvent Kleene's non-hazardous degreaser/cleaner, D-Greeze 500, D-Greeze 1000 is designed for applications where faster drying is needed. Like D-Greeze 500, D-Greeze 1000 outperforms trichloroethane and other chlorinated solvents. With its low surface tension, D-Greeze 1000 is able to quickly penetrate soils and provide fast cleaning. D-Greeze 1000 was formulated to feature a faster evaporation rate than most non-hazardous products, enabling it to dry more quickly. The chemical grafting of its components enables D-Greeze 1000 to quickly respond to air blow-off which reduces drying time to seconds.
Safer work environment
As a choice replacement for chlorinated solvents, D-Greeze 1000 is non-carcinogenic, has a very low order of toxicity, is non-corrosive and non-reactive. It contains no halogens, and no CFCs or ozone depleting components.
Cleaning with D-Greeze 1000
Quick penetrating D-Greeze 1000 dissolves and emulsifies stamping oils, lubricating fluids, cutting oils, and greases. It will also remove adhesives, wax, flux, and inks.
D-Greeze 1000 can be used in existing cleaning equipment without the need for any major capital expenditure. Most other safe degreaser/cleaners, especially water-based products, require costly specialized equipment for heating, constant chemical balancing, deionized water rinsing, waste water treatment, and sewer monitoring. For immersion cleaning, D-Greeze 1000 can be used in most any existing tank. A vapor degreaser tank can be used after disconnecting the heater.
To shorten the cleaning cycle, a pump charged liquid circulation system can be used to produce an aggressive liquid flow. The introduction of fluid dynamics facilitates the pulling off of oils and other contaminants from intricate surfaces, irregular channels, or long tubing.
Room temperature drying
D-Greeze 1000 leaves a surface spotlessly clean and residue free. Care must be taken, however, that blow-off operations are conducted within an enclosure. This allows the capture of the removed liquid. The cleaning tank and liquid blow-off area should include a gentle exhaust and ventilation system.
Disposal
Spent D-Greeze 1000 has a high BTU value making it useful for fuel blending. Incineration is an efficient and inexpensive method of disposal.
Meets Federal and State Regulations
Section 313 of the Superfund Amendment and Reorganization Act (SARA) mandates that a facility must report to the EPA the use and release of specific toxic chemicals. D-Greeze 1000 does not contain any of the components listed in Section 313 toxic chemical list. And, as defined in the Clean Air Act Amendment of 1990, D-Greeze 1000 is not a hazardous air pollutant.
Compatible with VOC regulations, D-Greeze 1000 is not photo-chemically reactive as defined, for example, by California South Coast Rule 102.
Unlike toxic or carcinogenic conventional solvents such as xylene, toluene, d-limonene, trichloroethane, percholoroethane, methylene chloride, and trichloroethylene, D-Greeze 1000 contains no halogens, no carcinogenic components, and has a very low degree of acute oral and inhalation toxicity.
