D-Zolve™ 15-33 IM Immersion Aircraft Depainter
D-Zolve™ 15-33 IM is an immersion type paint remover which efficiently removes paint from aircraft wheels, landing gear components, and other aircraft parts. It removes many layers of difficult to strip coatings such as Mil P23377 epoxy or TTP 2760 flexible polyurethane, Mil C85285 polyurethane topcoat, fluid resistant BMS 10-11-V type 1 and BMS 10-CO-H. It also removes topcoats with high solid content polyurethane.
Safe for Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals
D-Zolve 15-33 IM fully conforms to T.O. 1-1-8 and has passed Mil PRF.83936C tests for sandwich corrosion, flammability, paint removal performance and hydrogen embrittlement. These tests have been performed on aluminum ASTM B209 (2024-T3) magnesium AMS 4377, steel AMS 5046 and Class 1 cadmium plated steel. D-Zolve 15-33 IM is also suitable for use with most ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Easy to Use
To maximize efficiency and reduce waste, D-Zolve 15-33 IM exhibits a long active life and slow rate of evaporation. D-Zolve 15-33 IM is designed for tank immersion stripping. Heating the tank solution to 130°F/54°C and adding agitation further accelerates D-Zolve's performance.
Reduces Health and Environmental Risks
Designed to minimize health and environmental risks, D-Zolve 15-33 IM is non-carcinogenic, non-flammable, non-acidic and contains no chlorinated components. It has minimal or no hazardous air pollution potential.
FAA recommends that most non-metallic materials such as tires, electrical insulation, canopies, fiber reinforced composite materials, some sealants, synthetic rubber parts, and acrylic plastics be protected against possible contact with any paint remover.
