Kleeneze™ 406 offers one-step cleaning, rust protection and film lubrication for metal surfaces. Kleeneze was specially designed for applications where it is desirable to leave a thin film of lubricant on parts to provide improved lubricity and rust prevention on a surface following the cleaning process. Kleeneze can be safely used on firearms, bearings, tools, machine parts, screw machine products and other components machined from all ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Properties
Kleeneze's unique properties enable it to serve as a multi-purpose cleaner and protectorant. It dissolves greases and oils, emulsifies carbonaceous soil, penetrates rust and displaces moisture. Because it has a very low surface tension, it is also able to penetrate narrow openings. It cleans the surface then deposits a high performance, thin film that both lubricates the surface and serves as a corrosion inhibitor. This film does not result in an oily, greasy surface that can attract dust and sand.

Easy-to-Use
Kleeneze 406 is designed to meet a broad range of cleaning requirements. It can be sprayed or brushed as well as applied with wipes. It can also be used in immersion tanks.

Health and Safety
Environmentally safe, Kleeneze 406 has a very low order of troxicity and no air pollution potential. It does not contain any ozone depleting components and is non-flammable and non-hazardous to a users health.

Compatibility
Kleeneze can be used on a wide range of painted and unpainted metals, ferrous and non-ferrous, including: Titanium, Copper, Brass, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Aluminum, Anodized Aluminum and Magnesium. Kleeneze is is available in both 55-gallon drums and 5-gallon pails. On a special order basis, it is also available in aerosol cans or on lint free wipes .
